Patient Stories

  • We took our toddler to the ER earlier this week. It was a little bit of a wait to see the provider but that was expected. Everyone was great! However, the best part of this experience was the follow up call a couple days later. Tessa called me to check on how my child was doing, if I had any questions or concerns and if we needed to schedule a follow up. That is the kind of hometown care that builds relationships. Thank you for being great!

  • I had the best care from Dr. Shahbodaghi and the nurse Sheri. It was such a wonderful experience for being so far away from home. The nurse and doctor treated me with so much care.

  • We have had some rough times going to the hospital in previous years to the point of scared to go back and a few months ago we went in with our daughter extremely sick and ended up being hospitalized for a few days. I cannot express the terrific treatment we received. For the first time in a long time of going we were taken seriously and given the best treatment. Brit and Dr Shabodaghi were absolutely amazing, every nurse and CNA (I wish I can remember everyone by name) went above and beyond for us. We went in as scared parents and were comforted the second we walked in. I cannot say much more besides thank you, for taking care of our daughter and giving us back the confidence in going to our hospital again. Since then we have been going back to our clinic again and have yet to be disappointed. Thank you for everything.

  • My wife Pats experience with Sheridan Memorial has been unbelievable! The radiology department gals were terrific! She has seen Kelsey Haugo, Stephanie Kanning and your new Chief Medical officer Dr. Shahbodaghi! They have all been outstanding! Being from Grenora it's comforting knowing we have such professionals so close at hand! Dr. Shahbodaghi is an exceptional addition to your fine team, you should be so proud!

  • The entire staff in the ER saved my life. I went in due to swollen feet and not feeling right. They quickly did all the right tests and I was found to have 7 blood clots in my lungs. They quickly administered drugs but also referred me to Billings which the airflight was scheduled. Great staff.

  • For the first time ever, I have had such a great experience at the Emergency Room. Brit Nyby has changed my mind! My daughter who has very complex medical conditions was given the best care possible by Brit. She listened to everything I had to say and I could tell she truly cared about us! Ultimately, we had to be life flighted to Denver, but I just really want to thank her for being so attentive, professional and able to address our needs! She is exactly who this hospital needed and I am forever grateful!

  • I wanted to pass on that I had a Veteran that we work closely with and in our phone conversation today he just raved about his PT visit at Sheridan Memorial. Shout out to Amber in PT! A Veteran called the VA today expressing how he had the nicest, sweetest and caring Physical Therapist at SMH! He said she was very informative in explaining his rehab program and her goals for him. He said he left knowing that he was in good hands and that he knew she was going to help him get stronger! Thanks for all you do!
