Welcome to the Board of Directors page of Sheridan Memorial Hospital Association. Our Board is proudly comprised of dedicated volunteers and residents of Sheridan County, ensuring a direct representation of the community we serve.
Guided by our mission "providing quality care to improve the health and wellbeing of the people and community we serve" – our Board of Directors plays a pivotal role providing invaluable direction and guidance to our organization. The Board of Directors assumes a crucial role in offering oversight and guidance to our health center staff, ensuring the effective implementation of programs and activities that resonate with our commitment to accessible, high-quality healthcare.

Paul Hansen Vice-ChairAssociation Vice-PresidentFinance Committee Chair Plentywood, MT Board Member Since February 2021 Paul is the VP-Branch Manager of Plentywood Stockman Bank of Montana. He's been with Stockman Bank since March 2007 and is active with the Volunteer Fire Department, Lions Club, and Walleyes Unlimited. Paul enjoys coaching his two kids in basketball and baseball and recently started announcing football and basketball games on KATQ Radio International. His wife, Megan, graduated from Plentywood High School in 2002 and is currently the Sheridan County Treasurer. Paul joined the Association Board just after serving 9 years on the Sheridan Health Care Foundation, Inc. board. He knows Sheridan Memorial Hospital Association is critical to the health and well-being of our county and its residents. Volunteers are needed to help insure the future of the Hospital for future generations. |

Nancy Jensen, DirectorAssociation DirectorPlentywood, MT Board Member Since August 2017 Nancy is a farm owner and operator and owner of Cousins Restaurant for 28 years. She has 30 years of banking experience and 5 years as a Crop Insurance Adjuster. Nancy recognizes the crucial impact having good health care service has on our community. Her career experiences and dedication is helpful in preserving and growing our health care system. Nancy's hobbies include quilting and horses. She currently serves on the Glen-Wood Inc. Board and Montana Farmers Union Insurance Board with previous terms on the Plentywood School Board. |

Myrnette Miller, DirectorAssociation DirectorPlentywood, MT Board Member Since March 2011 Born and raised in Sheridan County, Myrnette has served the community well; in particular, our local medical facility. Myrnette has served on the Sheridan Health Care Foundation, Inc. board from 1994 - 1999, Sheridan Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary board, the Hospital District Board and has been a Hospice Volunteer. She has held different titles on the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Association and currently serves as a director. Myrnette is a small business owner in Plentywood, Montana who enjoys being involved with and surrounded by the amazing staff at Sheridan Memorial. She sees their commitment to care for the community and enjoys watching the facility grow and soar. |

Chris Wiens, DirectorAssociation DirectorPlentywood, MT Board Member Since February 2023 Chris is the owner/operator of Plentywood Hardware and believes that there are two things that drive a community; Hospitals and Schools. To keep our NE Montana communities thriving we need great medical care. Chris graduated from UND with a degree in Commercial Aviation and flew until he moved with his family to Plentywood in 2012. Kody Nelson, CEOChief Executive OfficerSince: October 2020 Kody Nelson assumed the role of CEO and Nursing Home Administrator at Sheridan Memorial Hospital Association in August 2020. With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Kody has successfully led both critical access hospitals and nursing homes, as well as worked within larger healthcare systems. His career is distinguished by his ability to drive operational efficiencies, increase revenue, and enhance patient care quality. Kody holds a Master’s degree in Health Policy and Administration from Washington State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from Brigham Young University-Idaho. He is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Residing in Plentywood, MT, Kody, his wife Kristie, and their five children are deeply embedded in the community. The children are enthusiastic participants in various sports, while Kristie is an avid quilter, regularly attending local quilt guild meetings. As a family, they enjoy spending time at the golf course, hunting, and staying actively involved in their community. |
