Dr. David Shahbodaghi is a 4th generation primary care physician who joins Sheridan Memorial after completing 12 years of Active Duty Service with the United States Army, where he last served as the Hospital Medical Education Director for William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Fort Bliss, Texas. He comes from a long line of physicians, with his uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather all having preceded him in the profession.Dr. Shahbodaghi is a veteran of the Wars in the Middle East and has served with CENTCOM Forward Command as well as with the 42nd Infantry Division in combat. He holds the Meritorious Service Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters among other decorations.
Dr. Shahbodaghi and his wife Christine have 3 children; a daughter, Audrey, a son, Fitzwilliam, and son, James.
